Student Updates for June 2022

Greetings,

As we have closed down our social media accounts, (or will not be paying attention to social media accounts from this point on), we will provide updates here on the website. We think this is a better solution and the most relevant for our students.

  1. Social Media
    • We closed the Hoodoo Witch Facebook page. And we are not active on any social media platforms.
      • One of the main reasons why we don’t want to participate in social media is the amount of spam we need to deal with – delete & monitor. We just don’t have the time and we don’t need to pay for a social media manager (as we like to have a relaxed approach to our ways).
      • Also, due to the expectation of providing immediate responses, we believe it is better for students and potential students to ask us questions in ONE PLACE – here on the website. When comments are posted on this site, we are alerted, and can offer a more timely response.
      • Social media may suit many people, and we are not denying the benefits of social media to everybody! As we are busy practitioners, teachers, and writers, social media can become a distraction not only to ourselves on a practical level, but also to our spirituality.
  2. Payments – these are our current changes to payment options
    • To access the course instantly, PayPal is our payment solution provider. When you pay with PayPal, the course will appear instantly in your Account, and you can begin straight away.
    • CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS – are now available as an option to pay your course fee/s.
  3. Student Questions
    • Savannah & Miss Melinda (myself) teach on this website every Thursday. We do take breaks throughout the year and we’re going to start to use the blog platform to let students know when we won’t be available to answer your questions.
    • If you have questions for either of us, please leave that question under the specific lesson.
    • If any lesson requires more information or you would like to have an example of what we’re talking about in that lesson, feel free to ask.
  4. Orisha & Lwas – Learning about the orisha in Hoodoo is not necessary. You can easily cast your spells with just prayers, Saints, Talismans from the books of Moses etc. The Orishas are the powerful spirits of the Yoruba religion (mainly Nigeria, Benin and Togo). They were acquired into religions such as Santeria and Voudon. The information provided on this website is not for the purpose of religious practice, but to introduce the energy and blessings of The Orisha into your workings – if you so choose.

If you have any questions you would like me to address feel free to drop a comment below.

POTENTIAL STUDENTS – Feel free to ask your questions in the comment section below as well.
